I dropped my bike off a couple weeks ago for mounting of two tires, a check of the wheel bearings, and a state inspection. I was told it might be a day or two, but I was OK when it took a few days longer. After about a week, I called in and was told that my bike was ready. Unfortunately, I arrived and my bike still wasn't inspected and the service ticket had been misplaced. Needless to say, I was frustrated and I decided to take my bike elsewhere rather than wait another day for the inspection. I feel, because I am a young rider of a Buell (owned by Harley from 1998-2009) that I received substandard service and that my business was not considered as valuable as a traditional Harley rider. Therefore, I don't plan on using Richmond Harley Davidson for service of my bike in the future. At the end of the day, I have less brand-loyalty to Harley Davidson now than prior to my visit. I hope other young riders receive better service and that my experience is not the norm.

I purchased a 2016 Fatboy from your company earlier this month (July 9th). As part of the sale I ordered several parts. Matt was extremely helpfull during the order process. I told him I would be installing the parts myself. I never got an itimized bill for this purchase. I thought it would be in the paperwork for the bike deal. After I got the parts I found out I was charged labor as well. I have yet to receive a refund. My second problem is I bought a part on line and tried to return it to the store. I was told by your parts department that I couldnt do it because I purchased it on line. When I go to the Harley Davidson web site they say I can return items to your store. Since you get credit for the sale you need to do your job and help the customer when needed. Another issue I have is the only way I found out my parts are in the store is for me to go to the store and ask. You ought to be informing the customer when the orders are available. My experience this past month does not leave me with a warm feeling about your company.
